Inclusive Track Program Coordinator

As a Track Assistant Coach at Meeting Street, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of middle school students. Our inclusive track team provides a supportive environment where students can develop their physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship skills.
You will assist with the coordination and supervision of the track team, promote physical fitness and teamwork, and support the development of the training schedule and meet program objectives. Effective communication with the head track coach and other community and school organizations is essential for success in this role.
This is a part-time position, requiring 7.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. We estimate the salary for this role to be around $15-$18 per hour, based on national averages and taking into account the requirements and qualifications outlined below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination and supervision of the track team
- Promote physical fitness and teamwork
- Support the development of the training schedule and meet program objectives
- Communicate with the head track coach and other community and school organizations
Requirements:
- Valid coaching certificate from RIDE or ability to obtain
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
