SpeedBuilder Systems, Inc. is a well-established provider of software solutions tailored for the property and casualty insurance sector, currently experiencing significant growth. We are in search of a dynamic operations director with a strong background in managing IT teams within our industry. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in delivering policy, billing, and claims solutions to P&C carriers and large Managing General Agents (MGAs), ideally with one of the leading firms in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee all daily functions of the organization, including product innovation, service delivery, and sales support, aligning with the management style of the President.

· Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership and the President, incorporating key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess company progress and objectives.

· Collaborate closely with the President on all business-related matters.

· Conduct employee evaluations and formulate corrective action plans as necessary.

· Develop and execute strategies, procedures, and business plans essential for fostering company growth.

· Partner with the President and senior leadership to establish organizational performance targets.

· Foster and create opportunities for emerging talent within the company.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to first-level managers, particularly in enhancing productivity among development teams.

· Establish KPIs and accountability metrics for:

o Development Teams

o Technical Management

o Client Account Management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 15+ years of experience delivering IT solutions in the property and casualty insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting project deadlines and effectively managing IT teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
