Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at Integrity Healthcare in the North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Level 3 16-bed NICU, attending high-risk deliveries, and participating in medical staff meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Round on all NICU babies and provide high-quality patient care
  • Attend high-risk deliveries, typically 67 shifts per month
  • Back up the Pediatric Hospitalist as requested
  • Attend High Risk Followup Clinic once per month for a half day
  • Attend Medical Staff Meetings (General, Peds, Perinatal M&M)
  • Serve on Medical Staff Committees as requested (usually 1 committee)
Details

Our NICU averages about 170 admissions per year, with an average daily census of approximately 78. We manage infants >28 weeks gestation and provide short-term conventional ventilation and BCPAP. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • BC/BE Neonatology
  • NRP instructor course completion and facility in all NRP procedures (including intubation and UVC placement)
Core Procedures
  • ETT, UAC, UVC, LP, Chest Tube placement, and circumcision
