Clinical Nurse Specialist Coordinator NICU

At NorthBay Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist Coordinator to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in coordinating clinical and educational resources, as well as care standards for our neonatal and pediatric critical care patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery
- Development of personnel and compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships
- Accountability for bringing innovative ideas from and to the bedside
- Coordination and provision of educational programs for staff
- Master's degree in Nursing required
- MSN major in clinical nurse specialist, clinical nurse leader, education, or related healthcare field required
- Current California RN License required
- Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing from a nationally recognized accrediting organization within 1 year of hire
- Certification by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) required
- Current AHA or equivalent BLS
- Current NRP certification required
- Current Clinical Nurse Specialist certification is required
- Working knowledge of healthcare practices, patient care equipment, and products required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in neonatal nursing care, at least one of which has been in a facility with a NICU that is equivalent to a Regional or Community NICU
- Minimum 3 years of education or clinical specialist experience with increasing scope of responsibility preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Possesses instructional ability, leadership ability, and high professional standards
- Must be well organized, be able to set priorities, work independently, and be an effective team member
- Hourly Salary Range Min $ Max $96.84 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
