Job Title: Clinical Nurse II

NorthBay Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our newborn patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients assigned to your care
  • Use a therapeutic professional relationship with patients and their families to facilitate health promotion, maintenance, and restoration
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher required (excludes grandfathered employees)
  • Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Course required within 4 months of hire
  • STABLE required within one year of hire
  • National nursing certification is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least six months of RN acute care experience or six months of same day surgical experience
  • One year of NICU RN experience highly preferred
