Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist Coordinator NICU

At NorthBay Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist Coordinator to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in coordinating clinical and educational resources, as well as care standards, for our neonatal and pediatric critical care patients.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in neonatal nursing care. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery
  • Development of personnel and compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships
  • Accountability for bringing innovative ideas from and to the bedside

The Clinical Nurse Specialist Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating and providing educational programs for staff, as well as working collaboratively with physicians to establish a collegial and interdisciplinary patient care environment.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Nursing, a current California RN License, and certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing care and excellent leadership and communication skills.
