As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing month-end processes, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and providing financial insights to operations and production teams. brbr bKey Responsibilities/bbrulliManage month-end close processes, including account reconciliation and journal entries./li liPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements and board reports./li liEnsure timely and accurate reporting of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements./li liLead cost accounting tasks, including standard costing and variance analysis./li liOversee inventory transactions and collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory./li liProvide financial insights to operations and production teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs./li liAnalyze key performance indicators to enhance plant performance and cut costs./li liManage the fixed asset register, including capitalization and depreciation./li liWork with HR on payroll and labor cost analysis./li liAssist in budgeting and forecasting with detailed financial models./li liProvide financial analysis and recommendations for strategic decisions./li liEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policies./li liAssist with audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards./li liHandle special projects and financial analysis as needed./li/ulbrbRequirements/bbrulliBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus./li li8+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong background in cost accounting and financial closing processes./li liExperience working in food manufacturing or a related industry is preferred./li liExperience with ERP systems./li liProven track record of managing month-end close, financial reporting, and operational analysis./li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights./li liExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments./li liDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement./li/ulbrbWhat We Offer/bbrulliSalary: $100,000 - $110,000/year/li liPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc./li liBenefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer./li/ul
