Job Summary

We're seeking an HR Generalist / Crew Scheduler to join our Human Resources team at our Omaha, NE Plant. As a key member of our team, you'll partner with plant staff, including Supervisors, Union Representatives, and Hourly employees, to drive plant engagement and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage personnel files, including new hire paperwork, attendance records, training documentation, and disciplinary records.
  • Assist HR Generalists/Crew Schedulers with hourly interviews and orientation activities, including preparing orientation packets.
  • Lead the engagement committee and facilitate planned and ad-hoc engagement activities, such as decorating, catering, community outreach, and event photo and video repository.
  • Assist in the administration of recognition programs and employee merchandise/swag offerings, including service awards and employee of the month.
  • Ensure employee communication channels are reviewed and refreshed, including bright signs, quarterly newsletters, compliance boards, and employee suggestion boxes.
  • Plant liaison for employee uniforms vendor, manage employee locker assignments, uniform ordering, and vendor follow-up for open items until resolution.
  • Provide administrative support for plant visitors, including meal ordering, stocking refreshments, reservations, and office supply orders.
  • Coordinate food vendor calendar, onboard new vendors, maintain caterer and vendor approval, assist employees with vending cards, redeem recognition cards for vending vouchers.
  • Assist hourly team members with login issues and password resets.
  • Maintain employee phone directory and mailroom assignments and organization.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or at least 3 years of experience supporting office practices and procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, interpersonal communications, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of various State & Federal laws affecting personnel.
  • Valid Driver's License.
