Job Title: E-commerce Technical Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Technical Specialist to join our team at Polymaker LLC. As an E-commerce Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online platforms, including Shopify and WordPress, to ensure seamless and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SKU Management: Organize, manage, and maintain product SKUs within the Shopify platform to ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • E-commerce Development: Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify and WordPress sites using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of both platforms.
  • Content Management: Manage and update product information, blog content, and other site elements using Shopify's admin interface and WordPress's content management system (CMS).
  • App & Plugin Integration: Manage and integrate third-party apps and plugins to extend the functionality of both Shopify and WordPress, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced performance.
  • Automation & Scripting: Write scripts or use APIs to automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and improve efficiency on both platforms.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to both Shopify and WordPress sites, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on key metrics related to sales, traffic, and inventory using built-in analytics tools and custom scripts on both platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Shopify and WordPress, including theme development and customization.
  • Proficiency in Shopify's Liquid templating language and WordPress's PHP, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Shopify's API, WordPress plugins, and integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with e-commerce analytics and reporting.
