Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Advantage Technical. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime, including vibration data collection and analysis.
    • Repair and reassemble mechanical and hydraulic components, including bearings, seals, shafts, and other critical parts.
  • Blueprint Interpretation and Quality Control
    • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation of rotating equipment.
    • Verify the quality of finished tasks, ensuring defect-free equipment by checking dimensions, alignment, and clearances according to specifications.
  • Geometric Calculations and Inspections
    • Perform geometric calculations, including fan blade pitch adjustments, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
    • Conduct routine inspections to identify issues or malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Safety and Teamwork
    • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
    • Troubleshoot and solve complex problems using critical thinking skills, managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Oversee contractors and mentor new employees to ensure the efficient execution of tasks.
Requirements and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance and repair.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven time-management skills and task prioritization.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge of SAP data entry system or equivalent.
