CFG Health Network has a part-time/per diem opening for an Advanced Practice Nurse. This is an incredible opportunity offering competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and document patient assessments, including gathering medical history and performing physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with licensure guidelines.
  • Perform necessary invasive procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patient medication regimens.
  • Prepare discharge summaries and transfer orders.
  • Adhere to established patient care protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to educate patients about their medical care.
  • Provide necessary on-call coverage.

Continuously enhance clinical knowledge and skills through formal and informal education, as well as literature review, benefiting both yourself and the healthcare team.

Additional Duties
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Qualifications
  • Current CPR/BLS certification with demonstrated cognitive skills is mandatory.
  • A Master's Degree and a valid Advanced Practice Nurse license for the relevant state are required.
  • Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience is essential.
  • Must possess prescriptive authority with a valid DEA and CDS.
  • Experience in a correctional healthcare setting is preferred.

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, the employee may need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
