Software Systems Engineer

Job Description
Reflexion is seeking a skilled Software Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of our cognitive training system. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement software components that enable users to improve their cognitive performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in developing systems-level software. You will work closely with our team to develop and maintain our cloud-based software, including the Virtual Coach, web app, and management portal.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about developing innovative solutions and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our company. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for software development, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software components for our cognitive training system
- Collaborate with our team to develop and maintain our cloud-based software
- Develop and maintain system-level software, including embedded code and device drivers
- Work closely with our data science team to integrate cognitive tests and training games
- Contribute to the development of our web front-end and back-end, mobile apps, and devops
Requirements:
- B.S.C.S. or equivalent degree in computer science or related field
- Industry experience in software engineering, with a focus on systems-level software
- Strong understanding of software design and architecture principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
