Truancy Case Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truancy Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work collaboratively with clients, families, and court representatives to develop and implement service plans that promote regular school attendance.
Key Responsibilities- Engage clients and their families in a collaborative relationship to enhance the potential for positive outcomes.
- Work with the family and court representative to implement the service plan and promote regular school attendance.
- Maintain awareness of community resources and facilitate access to resources and services necessary to support service goals.
- Collaborate with school and court personnel, as well as other significant individuals or providers, to provide advocacy services in community settings.
- Collect and monitor required school data and client satisfaction materials in the prescribed format.
- Communicate with DHS and the Court regarding service status and outcomes for RTC-involved students and families.
- Accompany and assist the child and family through Truancy Court proceedings.
- Advocate with and for clients for access to appropriate level of care placements.
- Adhere to Agency and regulatory entity guidelines concerning caseload requirements, service delivery, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Participate in all necessary interdisciplinary functions and meetings.
- Generate and prepare all required statistical reports in a timely fashion.
- Bachelor's level degree in the social services professions.
- Documented experience in case management services.
- Knowledge of substances of abuse and their effects is desirable.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
