Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Residential Education, SPCS to join our team at Stanford University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of residential education programs that promote academic success, personal growth, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement residential education programs that align with the university's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in academic and personal matters.
  • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of residential education programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in residential education and apply this knowledge to improve programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Advanced communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review and analyze complex information.
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
  • Understanding of financial transactions.
  • Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced experience in residential programming for high school age participants.
  • Experience managing communications with parents and guardians.
  • Experience with Health and Wellness programs for adolescents.
