Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Residential Education to join our team at Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of residential education programs that promote academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement residential education programs that align with the university's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of residential education staff to deliver high-quality programs and services
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate residential education with academic programs
  • Provide guidance and support to students to ensure their academic and personal success
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in residential education and implement innovative approaches to enhance student learning and engagement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review and analyze complex information
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced experience in residential programming for high school age participants
  • Experience managing communications with parents and guardians
  • Experience with Health and Wellness programs for adolescents
