We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Lead to join our team at St. Anthony Summit Hospital. As a Medical Assistant Lead, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Assume a supportive role and have responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patients to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Provide direct patient care and lead and support front-line staff in day-to-day clinical operations.
- Manage operational issues, ensure staff adhere to clinic quality, regulatory, billing, and customer service standards, and provide staff duties.
- Serve as a point of contact for any issue in the daily operation of the clinic and assess, resolve, and/or escalate to Clinic Supervisor and/or Assistant Administrator as appropriate.
- One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Clinical skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- High School Degree or Equivalent required.
- Diploma from an accredited medical assistants program and externship completed is preferred.
- Current Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant required.
- BLS for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association required.
