Fast Pace Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical offices.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a positive experience for all patients
- Register patients, obtain demographic and insurance information, and verify eligibility
- Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and past due balances
- Retrieve and fax/mail medical records to primary care providers and insurance carriers as requested
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and return voicemails
- Provide clerical support as needed
- Adhere to the Core Values of the Company, including teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Medical office experience and familiarity with basic medical terminology preferred
- Ability to work independently and with the public in a high-pressure environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
