Overview

As an Outbound Logistics Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders for our retail customers. You will lead and manage a team of associates responsible for receiving, storing, delivering items, and maintaining the security of our warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the filling, loading, and checking of product orders for retail customers through effective management of your team.
  • Provide comprehensive training to new team members, ensuring they understand company policies, operational guidelines, and service standards.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely fulfillment of orders to meet our retail customer's expectations.
  • Coach, guide, and provide constructive feedback to your team associates on their overall performance.
  • Set clear productivity expectations and regularly monitor progress towards achieving those goals.
  • Conduct regular meetings with your team to foster communication, address concerns, and share updates.
  • Identify opportunities for employee development and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new team members.
  • Assist with scheduling operations for night warehouse shifts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in monthly safety meetings to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Complete required online training courses each quarter to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.
  • Consistently strive to achieve all operational performance metrics as outlined by the company.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with company and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The work environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
