Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Superintendent to join our team at Schindler. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance meets our high standards of quality and performance reliability. You will work closely with our sales staff to estimate service orders, schedule and execute orders, and investigate and resolve customer complaints.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement customer and company requirements for quality, performance reliability, and passenger safety for each project under your supervision.
  • Develop and implement a program of manpower selection, training, and performance appraisal to achieve productivity and quality improvement objectives.
  • Manage ongoing projects to ensure conformance to performance standards of quality, completeness, and safety.
  • Support sales staff in estimating service orders, scheduling and executing orders, and investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  • Maintain and manage proactive relationships with local IUEC business agents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of three to five years' experience in installation and service of elevators and escalators, as well as a minimum of one year as a lead mechanic to demonstrate leadership ability. You must have a working knowledge of elevators and escalators to manage and direct field personnel to meet our goals. You will also need excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and proven leadership skills.
