Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Healthcare Access Coordinator to support a prominent healthcare organization in managing their patient services effectively. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth patient experience within a bustling clinic environment.

Position Details:
  • Type of Employment: Temp to Perm / Contract to Hire
  • Work Environment: 100% onsite
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients upon arrival, facilitating their check-in and check-out processes.
  • Collect copayments and outstanding balances while ensuring accurate updates to patient records.
  • Conduct insurance verifications to streamline patient services.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and respond to incoming clinic inquiries.
  • Engage with patients directly in a clinical setting, providing exceptional service.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical front office or similar role.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor is essential.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is required.
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality is crucial in this busy environment.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
