Their monument division is focused on crafting granite memorials, markers, custom granite signage, and engraved brick pavers, while also engaging in wholesale monument sales.


Position Overview:

As a Human Remains Transport Specialist at Wilbert Funeral Services, your responsibilities will include responding to calls from hospitals, funeral homes, and other sources.

You will be tasked with traveling to designated locations, receiving human remains, and ensuring their transport is conducted with the utmost care and dignity.

Effective and respectful communication with funeral directors and family members is essential, and comprehensive training will be provided to equip you for these duties.


Essential Job Functions:
  • On-call shifts lasting 24 hours.
  • Receiving calls, collecting necessary information, and executing required actions.
  • Handling human remains with respect and care.
  • Residing within the designated service area.
  • Holding a valid driver's license.
  • Successfully passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
  • Undergoing a background check and drug screening.
  • Availability for on-call shifts lasting 24 hours.
  • Willingness to work during night, weekend, and holiday hours.
  • Ability to adhere to directions, policies, and procedures with minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills are essential.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance is required.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting.
