**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Standards Manager to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our Data Standards team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of Airgas vendor data within our SAP system.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain data analytics for Airgas leadership and special projects.
  • Establish and ensure departmental standards are consistently met.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Plan, assign, and direct the work of the Data Standards group.
  • Gather information from outside sources and identify necessary Data Standards changes within SAP.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and leading employees to success.

**Requirements:**

  • BA or BS in Business or related discipline desired.
  • Four years additional Purchasing/Inventory Control and/or Data Management experience in lieu of degree.
  • Three years minimum experience in Purchasing/Inventory Control and/or Data Management.
  • One to three years supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of management and associates.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage people.
  • Detailed or general knowledge of the welding and/or safety industry, including business processes and product knowledge is a plus.
