Job Description
Restaurant Depot, a leading wholesale restaurant supplier, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Tulsa, OK.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities, ensuring accurate execution of processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a multi-tasking individual with excellent communication skills, knowledge of inventory control, P & L, budgeting, merchandising, employee development, recruitment, and human resource-related issues.

Responsibilities:


Operations Management:

  • Supervise daily activities of the picking and loading management within a cold storage facility.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate execution of processes to meet operational goals, considering the challenges of cold storage.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor supervisors, and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to address performance issues and ensure professional growth.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the distribution center's productivity and efficiency in a cold storage context.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.

Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and reduce carrying costs, taking into account the challenges of cold storage.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, especially within the unique cold storage environment.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing proper safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within a cold storage context.
  • Implement best practices, technology solutions, and automation to drive process improvements.
