We are seeking a skilled Counselor (HS/Equivalent or Bachelor's) to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in Knox, Blount, and Anderson counties. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to individuals and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide counseling services to clients in our clinics and community settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote mental health and well-being
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working with mental health clients and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local travel
