We are seeking a qualified Counselor (HS/Equivalent or Bachelor's) to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in Knox, Blount, and Anderson counties.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing information and referral, agency linkage, advocacy, home visits, and follow-up services as defined by the individualized goals of program participants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide counseling and advocacy services to clients in clinics or community settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with clients in a mental health or social services setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
