We are seeking a skilled Counselor (HS/Equivalent or Bachelor's) to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in East Tennessee. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to clients in our clinics and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information and referral, agency linkage, advocacy, home visits, and follow-up services to clients as defined by their individualized goals.
- Work with clients to develop and implement treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for addressing them.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on topics such as mental health, substance abuse, and crisis management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience working with clients in a mental health or social services setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local travel are required.
- A competitive salary range of $16.22-$18.59 per hour, depending on position, education, and experience.
