Job Title: Clinic LPN

At Amergis, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a remote clinic setting. As a Clinic LPN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support the nursing team in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Identify and prioritize patient care requirements and perform interventions accordingly
  • Provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environment
  • Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education
  • Document patient responses to nursing and other interventions
  • Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment
  • Participate in activities to facilitate good interpersonal communications with the chosen facility
  • Administer vaccines or medications as required
  • Make follow-up phone calls to patients and input information into the computer
  • Help stock and maintain the cleanliness of the facility
Requirements:
  • Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License
  • One year of experience as an LPN/LVN preferred
  • One year of experience in a clinic setting preferred
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
