Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in the Department of Medicine at University Affiliates. The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary care and infectious disease experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering therapies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in primary care and infectious disease.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:
• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in primary care, with a strong background in infectious disease.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
