Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Practitioner to join our team at Mobile Healthcare Partners Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and preventive medical care to patients, including physical, mental, and emotional health needs.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations, gather and assess historical information, and diagnose health problems based on interpretation of patient history, physical exam findings, and diagnostic test results.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, which may include health education, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment, and referrals for specialty evaluation or treatment.
  • Prescribe medications and administer treatment within limits of privileges and state and federal regulations.
  • Order diagnostic tests and specialized diagnostic procedures as deemed necessary.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete completion of required reports and clinical information.
  • Perform other clinical duties assigned within limits of privileges.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an NP/PA in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Environment; 3-5 years is preferred.
  • Current and unrestricted New York state license. Must comply with all state requirements and regulations.
  • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification prior to performing work.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and excellent computer maneuverability.
  • Exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing with completion of a university-based program for Nurse Practitioner.
  • Must possess relevant certification from American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying body. Nurse practitioner must be licensed or otherwise recognized as a nurse practitioner in New York State.
