About the Role

At Flex-N-Gate, we're seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to lead our maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance coordination, with experience in managing a team and prioritizing tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of a team of technicians
  • Perform diversified duties to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and facility systems
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as needed
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance coordination, with a focus on supervisory roles
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as preventative maintenance principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed
