We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at American Repair Maintenance LLC. This role involves delivering exceptional maintenance services to our customers, ensuring that their facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Job Description

This is a hands-on position that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for completing service tickets in a designated territory, working independently or as part of a team to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

You will be the eyes and ears in the field, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards. This role requires flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. You must also be willing to travel within a specified radius to customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with a variety of tools and equipment. They should also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and communicate work required and executed out in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and work orders with minimum direct supervision.
  • Clear lines of professional communication with Lead Technician(s)/Field Supervisor(s)/Field Manager(s) and office staff on open issues and progress of all work assigned.
  • Successful execution of assigned programs/work orders as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in most or all of the following skills: Carpentry (cabinet repair), Plumbing (run a power auger, change out sinks and faucets, use of sewer machine, experience working on commercial toilets, water heaters, running a rodder), Electrical (basic electrical knowledge), HVAC, Painting, Drywall Repair, Flooring Repairs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Related vocational education or certifications preferred.
  • Proficient computer and mobile phone skills (preferably iOS and Android).
  • Intermediate proficiency reading assembly and blueprint drawings.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to provide own hand tools and toolbox suitable for the job.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and apply up to 200 pounds of torque.
Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive pay, with an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide medical & RX, dental, vision, life insurance, company matching 401(k), HSA, paid vacations, paid holidays, sign-on, and referral bonuses.
