Are you a seasoned aircraft maintenance expert looking for a new challenge? Do you have what it takes to lead a team and ensure the safe operation of aircraft in one of North America's busiest hubs?

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Detroit. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities at the station, prioritizing preventive and corrective maintenance services, and ensuring that our aircraft are airworthy and ready for departure.

  • Lead and manage a technical team to deliver high-quality maintenance services.\
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting analyses to identify and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively.\
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.\
  • Travel to other stations for training and support as needed.\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track maintenance activities and performance metrics.\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.\
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.\
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the team.\
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and empower team members.\
  • Foster open communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and management.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and technological advancements.\

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on maintenance-related matters and provide input to improve processes and procedures.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and optimal results.\
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.\
  • May be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.\
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally for training, meetings, or other work-related activities.\\[
Requirements:\
  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\
  • Valid FAA license (or equivalent) and relevant certifications.\
  • At least 6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with 3+ years in leadership roles.\
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality maintenance services, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.\
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.\
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).\
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with the organization.\\[
