Job Description

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist at Clean Earth, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, HVAC systems, roofing, and other related equipment
  • Conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure a safe, efficient, and healthy work environment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in maintenance-related fields
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills, with the ability to read manuals and repair equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check and physical examination
