Position Overview
We are in search of a Facilities Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Operations Coordinator will assist in overseeing daily operations, which includes managing work orders, inventory of supplies, and overall productivity. Effective communication, both verbal and written, with management, colleagues, and external vendors is essential.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment (computers, telephones, and photocopiers) is preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook are preferred.

Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Food Manufacturing or packaging is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with manufacturing machinery is beneficial.
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
- Strong professional communication skills are required.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing all work orders efficiently.
- Managing stock inventory and ordering non-stock items.
- Purchasing maintenance supplies.
- Coordinating the scheduling of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assisting maintenance technicians with sourcing parts.
- Maintaining relationships with preferred vendors.
- Tracking downtime issues related to maintenance.
- Picking up supplies from local vendors as necessary.
- Creating preventative maintenance lists for new assets and equipment.
- Managing consumable items utilized by maintenance staff.
- Utilizing independent judgment to devise innovative solutions to arising challenges.
- Identifying problem areas, proposing suggestions, and assisting in the implementation of solutions in collaboration with management.
- Performing other duties as required by customer or production demands.

Physical Requirements/Environment
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and climbing stairs.
- Normal vision, hearing sensitivity, and manual dexterity are necessary for this position.
- Fast-paced manufacturing and packaging work environment.
