Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Representative to join our team at American Family Insurance. In this role, you will provide cash operations support and process various transactions, including vendor payments, customer premiums, and agent commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices and process payments, refunds, and transactions with vendors or insured customers.
  • Review statements and reports, and reconcile transactions as needed.
  • Prepare agent commission files and reconcile activities with carriers.
  • Research and resolve accounting-related questions and issues.
  • Provide accounting support to premium finance arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in accounting support activities in an insurance or financial services function.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance, accounting, and accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
