Job Title: Survey Data Analyst

Join the University of Rochester's Data Governance and Support Office as a Survey Data Analyst, working on a 10-week project from June 1st to August 7th, 2021. This role involves collecting and verifying survey data and metadata, developing best practices for survey creation, and outlining content, platforms, and processes for a survey question bank.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify and document ongoing surveys, updating or completing metadata as needed.
  • Create communication and educational materials for survey best practices, targeting faculty and staff at the university.
  • Propose content, platforms, and processes for building a survey question bank, with a proof of concept as time permits.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing or completed a bachelor's degree, with interest in Information Technology, data and metadata standards, and/or library and information science.
  • Strong oral, written, and team communication skills, effective questioning, listening, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills required.
