Job Summary

The Crisis Clinician provides critical assessment, intervention, and stabilization services for children and families in crisis. This role requires a strong understanding of psychopathology, crisis theory, and behavioral health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide mobile crisis services in community settings, including homes, schools, and hospitals
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and external providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Make clinically appropriate referrals and coordinate care with emergency departments and inpatient units
  • Participate in community-based meetings and conferences to address system issues and promote diversionary planning
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling, or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a vehicle
  • Licensure requirements for clinical positions, including LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut
