Mobile Crisis Response Team Clinician

Join Access as a Mobile Crisis Response Team Clinician and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in crisis. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support and intervention to those experiencing mental health, substance use disorder crises, and suicidal risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch to mental health crises in New Rochelle and Mt. Vernon
  • Assess, engage, de-escalate, and stabilize individuals and situations
  • Help individuals access necessary services and resources
  • Interface with community leaders, police departments, and providers
  • Conduct assessments of behavioral health symptoms and crisis-related needs
  • Develop safety plans or crisis prevention plans
  • Work in compliance with Mobile Crisis Response Team, agency, and regulatory procedural guidelines

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree and New York State Licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC required
  • Unlicensed clinicians may be considered
  • Skills in clinical triage and assessment of emergency, urgent, and routine calls
  • Familiarity with Westchester resources to support complex needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and demeanor
  • Passion for engaging with community members and team members
