Job Title: Bilingual Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician to join our team at SMPsychotherapy and Counseling Services. As a Bilingual Clinician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Clinician will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered mental health services to individuals, children, teens, couples, and families. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy services in the client's home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their unique needs, challenges, and treatment goals.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the client's specific needs.
  • Provide therapy services in the client's home, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques to address emotional and psychological issues.
  • Be prepared to respond to and manage crisis situations when they arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Continuously evaluate and document client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain clear and accurate client records.
  • Work closely with other members of the SMPsychotherapy and Counseling Services team, including consulting with other therapists and clinical staff.
  • Offer support, education, and guidance to clients and their families, helping them develop coping strategies and improve their mental health.
  • Maintain ethical standards and adhere to professional guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • State licensure as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist).
  • Experience in providing therapy to individuals and families, with a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to clients' homes within the designated service area.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to clients.
