Your role will involve engaging with individuals on streets, subways, and parks, conducting medical, mental health, and safety assessments, and encouraging individuals to seek shelter and utilize available services. You will work collaboratively with crisis coordinators and outreach teams to assess mental health conditions, determine if individuals pose a risk to themselves or others, and coordinate with law enforcement for safe transportation to psychiatric emergency programs if necessary. You will also provide medical attention as per legal guidelines, initiate relevant procedures, document encounters and assessments efficiently, and communicate with hospital staff and clinicians to relay medical assessments and treatment recommendations. Schedule Notes: Part-time roles available. Flexible shifts required across different boroughs.
