Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Project Planner to join our team at APS (Arizona Public Service). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance projects across our transmission and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to secure necessary materials and services.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring high-quality work and efficient project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on transmission and distribution maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and other project management software.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
