Job Title: Senior System Administrator

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to support the ESA V program in Lorton, VA.

The successful candidate will provide expert-level system administration services to manage and maintain the equipment, networks, and web applications that support the field communications systems deployed by our customer.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, BigFix patch management, Active Directory, and other related technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply STIGs using the DISA SCAP or OpenSCAP tools
  • Harden servers using DISA STIG and other guidance as required
  • Create Golden Images for future deployments
  • Independently and collaboratively provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for a mission-critical government system
  • Support the system as the SME on the team, requiring broad and deep knowledge across the applicable technologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years experience
  • High school diploma with 12+ years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer
