Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to support the ESA V program in Lorton, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level system administration services to manage and maintain the equipment, networks, and web applications that support the field communications systems deployed by our customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply STIGs using the DISA SCAP or OpenSCAP tools to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Independently and collaboratively provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for a mission-critical government system
  • Design, implement, and configure systems infrastructure, including Dell PowerEdge R940 servers and iDRAC
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the field communications systems equipment and networks
  • Collaborate with senior system administrators to provide 24/7 support and resolve complex systems and software-related issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Government Public Trust security investigation
  • Experience as a Subject Matter Expert on various operating systems, patch management, and Active Directory
  • Experience providing O&M support to complex, mission-critical systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
