Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Acute unit at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver world-class health with human connection.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a variety of patients, including those with medical and surgical conditions, in a fast-paced 45-bed unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring and vasoactive drips.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
