About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Acute unit at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA.

This is a full-time day shift position, working 12-hour shifts, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

About the Unit

The Medical Surgical Acute unit is a fast-paced 45-bed unit that cares for patients along the continuum of care, from observation to inpatient. Our team provides comprehensive care to patients with a variety of conditions, including stroke, chest pain, post-cardiac interventions, and medical management.

We utilize telemetry monitoring and vasoactive drips to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience
