About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced 45-bed Medical Surgical Acute unit, caring for a variety of patients along the continuum of care, from observation to inpatient. Our population includes patients admitted for rule out stroke, chest pain, post-cardiac interventions, same-day surgery, and medical management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including telemetry monitoring and vasoactive drips.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
