Medical Surgical Acute Care Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity working 12-hour night shifts in our fast-paced 45-bed Medical Surgical Acute unit. Our team cares for a variety of patients along the continuum of care, from observation to inpatient, requiring telemetry monitoring and vasoactive drips.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience
