Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team at Dell's Service Center. As a Shop Foreman, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of repairs and maintenance tasks on domestic vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians and support staff to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
  • Plan and Prioritize: Plan and prioritize workflow to meet service requirements and customer expectations.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Diagnose complex vehicle issues and provide guidance and support to technicians as needed.
  • Inspect and Recommend: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and order parts and supplies as necessary to support service operations.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Team Culture: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Required a minimum of 2 years of auto shop experience.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with proficiency in domestic vehicle systems. Excellent leadership and communication abilities with the capacity to motivate and mentor team members. Solid understanding of automotive repair processes, tools, and equipment. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to quality, safety, and customer service excellence.
Bonus Qualifications
  • ASE Certification: ASE certification.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a shop foreman or lead technician in a automotive service environment.
Working Hours and Benefits

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m. NO WEEKENDS

Salary: Competitive pay based on candidate's experience
