About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Production Strategies: Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet production targets.
- Optimize Production Processes: Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel complaints in accordance with company policy.
- Drive Quality and Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect production problems.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in industrial manufacturing and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
- A four-year degree in a technical or business discipline.
- 2-5 years of management experience or 8-10 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Experience in electrical transformer manufacturing or industrial manufacturing.
