About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Care Specialist to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store Environment: Ensure all areas of the store, including the sales floor, backroom, and restrooms, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Operate Floor Care Equipment: Safely operate the scrubber and buffer to maintain the store's floors and ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and associates.
  • Support Customer Experience: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to Operational Standards: Maintain all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, including adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Train in Other Areas: Be cross-trained in other areas of the store, including the backroom, front end, and sales floor, to support the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Physical Stamina: Possess the physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, operate floor care equipment, and lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule: Be able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
